Sangiorgio is anItalian company specializing in designing custom-made furniture such as closets and bedroom sets. Sangiorgio Mobili in the 2000s created an in-house architectural studio dedicated exclusively to designing unique solutions tailored to its client’s specific needs.
With such a specialized and highly organized department, Sangiorgio Mobili dialogues with major international studios for projects with an already established design.
MADE IN ITALY AND QUALITY
Sangiorgio’s history begins in the 1700s and is therefore one of the historic families in the world of Italian furniture.
Only thanks to such an important heritage does contemporary production reach the peaks of quality that distinguish the company.
Sangiorgio furniture is made and packaged like a sartorial suit, all within the Biassono factory: thehandcrafted input is skillfully combined with the industrial production chain. Much of the workmanship is carried out by “master craftsmen,” imparting absolute quality that is tangible and unalterable over time.
Made in Italy will always remain one of Sangiorgio’s prerogatives, guaranteeing the refinement of a product that draws its origins from its own history.
The production philosophy that has always distinguished Sangiorgio’s product is based on quality: only carefully selected materials subjected to rigorous durability tests are chosen in Sangiorgio’s collections: from scratch-resistant and unalterable over time materials, to components guaranteed for the entire life cycle, to the most hidden but equally carefully cared for details.
ECO-SUSTAINABILITY
Sangiorgio has always shown special attention and sensitivity in the sphere of ecology and environmental sustainability, channeling efforts and resources to achieve tangible results not only in the finished product (made of fully recycled wood), but especially in the production processes.
Over the course of two decades, the company’s management has developed a three-pronged strategy: energy recovery, choice of production materials and their disposal, and transportation.
Sangiorgio has based its production activities on the recovery of scrap and wood dust from processing, making use of modern extraction systems, to use them as heating fuel, replacing hydrocarbons.
Sangiorgio also aims to manage the storage and disposal of all materials involved in the production process.
The company’s “green spirit” is also evidenced by the use of close to 100 percent recyclable packaging materials.
