Ziggy is designed with great attention to materials and functionality. The soft curved bed frame is made of solid pine wood and is available in natural light pine wood or coated with water-based black paint. Ziggy has six open storage compartments, allowing for more space in apartments or smaller homes. The frame features a clever system of side “pockets” for storing your favorite books. In addition, the large surface area of the frame makes it easy to charge smartphones right next to the bed, replacing the bedside table. The mattress is not included. It can also be used with tatami mats, providing a versatile solution for bedroom furniture and ensuring acomfortable and personalized sleeping experience. Karup’s design stems from the perfect blend of minimalist, essential Scandinavian design and Japanese futons.
