The pieces are exclusively designed and developed by designer Martin Breuer-Bono and made by local craftsmen using carefully selected materials. The designer’s work focuses on projects that always aim for the essential by incorporating a minimalist approach.
THE DESIGNER, EXHIBITIONS AND AWARDS
Martin Breuer-Bono holds a master’s degree from the Technische Universität Wien and a master’s degree from the Royal College of Art in London. His work focuses on the search for the essential and the practical. His projects have won prestigious international design awards and his work has been shown in touring exhibitions in numerous countries. Martin Breuer-Bono lives and works in Graz, Austria.
MARTIN BREUER BONO: THE SEARCH FOR THE ESSENTIAL
The designer’s style is distinctly minimalist. Clean, simple and essential lines are favoured. Bono decides to abandon the complexity of design and is inspired by the concept of essentiality. The furniture is stripped of all superfluous elements. There is a play on the enhancement of individual elements, emphasising light and form. Martin Breuer-Bono’s minimalism, with its noble and simple materials, stands for simplicity, i.e. no frills, and thus also for practicality, functionality.
